Your quote stays private

Here's exactly what that promise means. LevelQuote is operated by Constructive Solutions Contracting in Halifax, Nova Scotia, and follows Canada's federal privacy law (PIPEDA).

What we collect

Only what you send us: your name, email address and area, your quote and any photos, and whatever you write in your message. If you pay, we keep a record of the payment. E-transfers go through your bank. Card payments are processed securely by Stripe, so we never see or store your full card number.

What we use it for

Reviewing your quote, writing your report, answering your follow-up questions, and keeping the business records that tax law requires.

What we never do

• Sell or rent your information.
• Show your quote to the contractor who wrote it, or to anyone else.
• Add you to a mailing list without asking.

Matching you with a vetted contractor happens only if you ask us to.

The prices we keep

To keep our fair-price ranges current, we keep the price figures from reviewed quotes (the trade, the job size, the part of HRM and the amounts) with your name, your address and the contractor's name removed.

How long we keep things

Your quote documents and photos are deleted 12 months after your review, or sooner if you ask. Invoices and payment records are kept as long as tax law requires.

Your choices

Email reviews@levelquote.ca to see what we hold about you, correct it, or have it deleted. We'll answer within 30 days.

This website

This site has no ads, no tracking cookies and no tracking pixels. We count visits with Cloudflare Web Analytics, which works without cookies, stores nothing on your device and doesn't fingerprint you. Its fonts load from Google Fonts, so your browser asks Google's servers for them. Our host, Cloudflare, keeps standard security logs.
